1968 Chrysler 300 Convertible - Major Mechanicals

This 68 Chrysler 300 convertible has remained in the family since it was purchased.  It started life wearing a mid-metallic blue blazer, trading it in for a lovely lime green liesure suit during the Disco Decade, finally settling on the pastel yellow sport coat that it is currently donning.

The Sub-Frame frame has been sand blasted and the repaired, powder coated installed and front and rear suspension built. Rear end has been rebuilt, driveshaft rebuilt and high performance ceramic drum brake system from Prasie Dyno Brake installled.

The engine ran great despite it's appearance and actually propelled the car to the lift for the disassembly to begin.  The engine (a Chrysler 440), and transmission have been rebuilt, brought to life run and tested. Engine runs great and the trans shifts perfectly.

The entire body has been soda blasted and is currently in black epoxy primer. The firewall was primed and painted prior to engine install with it's original factory metallic blue. The lower rocker panels and the bottoms of the rear quarters will require a significant rebuild, and did the bottom of one of the fenders, but otherwise the car body is in decent shape.
